Quests
Quests are story-driven tasks offered by NPCs across different locations. Complete quests to earn gold, items, and experience while unlocking access to new areas. Each location has its own set of quests that become available as you progress through the game.
Getting Started with Quests
To access quests, travel to any location that has quest givers. Each quest is tied to a specific location, so you must be physically present at that location to view and interact with its quests.
Quest givers offer dialogue-based interactions where you can learn about the quest, ask questions, and choose whether to accept the task.
INFO
Quests unlock progressively. You need to complete a certain number of quests before new locations become available. Check the requirements table below to see what you need for each area.
Quest Requirements by Location
Before you can access quests in a location, you must have completed a minimum number of quests from previous areas:
| Location | Total Quests Completed Required |
|---|---|
| Bluebell Hollow | 0 |
| Whispering Woods | 3 |
| Eldoria | 6 |
| Crystal Caverns | 10 |
| Skyreach Peak | 14 |
| Enchanted Oasis | 18 |
| Floating Gardens of Aetheria | 22 |
| Celestial Observatory | 27 |
| Isle of Whispers | 32 |
| The Citadel | 40 |
Example: To unlock quests in Eldoria, you need to have completed at least 6 quests total from any previous locations. This count includes all completed quests across your entire progression.
TIP
Focus on completing quests in earlier locations to unlock access to higher-level areas. Each completed quest counts toward your total, regardless of which location it came from.
How Quests Work
Starting a Quest
When you interact with a quest giver, you enter a dialogue conversation. The NPC will explain the situation, and you can:
- Ask questions to learn more about the quest
- Choose dialogue options to explore different topics
- Accept the quest when you're ready
Once accepted, the quest appears in your active quests list and you can begin working toward its objectives.
Quest Objectives
Currently, quests require you to collect and deliver specific items. Each quest lists:
- Required items - What you need to gather
- Quantity needed - How many of each item
- Progress tracking - Your current progress toward each requirement
You can gather quest items through combat, skills, or other game activities. Quest items come from your regular inventory, so you can collect them before or after accepting the quest.
INFO
Your progress updates automatically as you collect items. You don't need to do anything special - just have the required items in your inventory.
Turning In Quests
Once you've collected all required items, return to the quest giver at the same location where you accepted the quest. The quest will show as ready to turn in.
When you complete the turn-in:
- Required items are removed from your inventory
- You receive your rewards
- The quest is marked as complete
- The next quest in the chain becomes available (if applicable)
Quest Chains and Cooldowns
Many quests are organized into chains - sequential storylines where completing one quest unlocks the next.
How Quest Chains Work
First Quest in a Chain:
- Can be completed once
- Unlocks the next quest immediately upon completion
- Does not have a cooldown
Subsequent Quests in a Chain:
- Have a cooldown between completions
- Cooldown starts when the previous quest was completed, not when you complete the current quest
Example:
Imagine a 4-quest chain: Quest A → Quest B → Quest C → Quest D
- Complete Quest A (one-time only) - Quest B unlocks immediately
- Complete Quest B - Quest C unlocks immediately, Quest B goes on 24-hour cooldown
- After 24 hours pass, Quest B becomes available again
- Complete Quest B again - The cooldown timer resets, Quest C remains available
Quest Status Indicators
Quests can have different availability states:
- Locked - Previous quest in chain not yet completed
- On Cooldown - Completed recently, waiting for cooldown to expire
- Available - Ready to accept or work on
- Ready to Turn In - All requirements met, can be completed
- Completed - Quest finished
Quest Rewards
Completing quests grants various rewards:
- Gold - Currency added directly to your balance
- Items - Equipment, consumables, or materials delivered to your inventory
- Experience - Character experience to help you level up
Rewards are granted immediately when you turn in the quest. If your inventory is full, items may not be delivered, so make sure you have space before completing a quest.
Tips for Success
- Complete quests early - Unlocking new locations requires total quest completions, so don't skip early areas
- Gather items in advance - You can collect quest items before accepting the quest, making turn-ins faster
- Read the dialogue - Quest givers provide hints about where to find items or what challenges to expect
- Travel efficiently - Remember that quests are location-specific. Plan your travels to minimize time spent moving between areas
