Sleeping
Sleeping restores a pet’s health and stamina so it can head back into battle or hunting. You choose when to tuck a pet in; once the timer starts it sleeps until the recovery finishes or you cancel it early.
INFO
Always send a pet to sleep after long battles or hunts. It won't recover its fatigue on its own.
Why Sleeping Matters
- Pet battles and hunts drain stamina and health. Without recovery, pets eventually stall.
- Sleeping is the only way to fully refill both bars without consumables.
- Rested pets deal more damage, survive longer, and earn loot faster.
Starting Sleep
A pet can sleep if:
- It is not battling, hunting, incubating, or listed on the exchange.
- You have unequipped it from your character.
- Its happiness or hunger bars do not prevent interaction (keep them above the danger thresholds).
Once you confirm sleep, the pet cannot perform any actions until the session ends or you cancel it.
Recovery Speed
Sleep recovery scales with your Pet Mastery level. Each quality has its own minimum and maximum recovery rates.
| Quality | Health per Second (min → max) | Stamina per Second (min → max) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 0.01 → 0.04 | 0.005 → 0.008 |
| Refined | 0.02 → 0.05 | 0.006 → 0.009 |
| Premium | 0.03 → 0.06 | 0.007 → 0.011 |
| Epic | 0.04 → 0.07 | 0.0075 → 0.012 |
| Legendary | 0.045 → 0.08 | 0.008 → 0.013 |
| Mythic | 0.05 → 0.09 | 0.0085 → 0.0145 |
At Pet Mastery level 1 the pet recovers at the minimum. At level 100 it reaches the maximum.
Sleep Length
The sleep timer runs until both health and stamina are full:
- Missing health ÷ health recovery = seconds needed for health.
- Missing stamina ÷ stamina recovery = seconds needed for stamina.
- Sleep ends when the longer of those two timers finishes.
INFO
The system always rounds to whole seconds, so very small amounts can still require a few seconds.
Cancelling Sleep
- You can wake a pet early if you need it immediately.
- The pet keeps whatever health and stamina it has recovered so far.
- Any remaining missing health or stamina must be healed in a future sleep.
TIP
Cancelling sleep too often slows progression. Try to let pets finish their naps for full recovery.
Quick Tips
- Queue sleep after every long hunt or battle cycle to keep pets ready.
- Keep multiple pets rotating - one fighting, one sleeping - to avoid downtime.
- Check the sleep timer in the pet inventory to know exactly when a pet will wake up.
