Parties
Parties allow you to team up with other players for coordinated gameplay experiences. Currently, parties are used for competing in leagues, with more features coming in future updates.
What Are Parties?
A party is a group of characters working together. Parties have a maximum of 4 members and are led by a designated leader. Any of your characters can create or join a party, including your alt characters.
TIP
Parties are currently used primarily for league competitions. More uses for parties are planned for the future!
Creating a Party
To create a new party:
- You must not already be in a party.
- Give your party a name (or it will default to "Party").
- You'll automatically become the Leader of the party you create.
Any of your characters can create a party separately. For example, you could have one character in a Woodcutting league party and another character in a Mining league party on the same account.

Inviting Members
Only the party leader can send invitations:
- Search for a character by name (minimum 3 characters needed).
- Send an invite to that character.
- The invited character will receive your invite and can accept or decline it.
- You can have up to 5 pending invitations out to characters at any time.
INFO
When inviting a member, an invite persists until accepted, declined, or the party is closed.
Invite Limits
- Each party can have pending invites equal to its available slots (e.g., if you have 2 members, you can have up to 2 pending invites).
- Each character can receive a maximum of 5 pending invites across all parties at once.
Accepting or Declining Invites
When you receive an invite to join a party:
- You can see all your pending invites in your invites tab.
- Accept the invite to join the party.
- Decline the invite to reject it.
Once you accept, you'll become a Member of that party and can start participating in that party's activities.
Leaving a Party
Members can leave their party at any time. When you leave:
- You'll be removed from the party immediately.
- If your party was participating in a league, your contribution data remains (it's tracked individually).
INFO
Leaders cannot leave their parties directly. As a leader, you must close the party instead.
Closing a Party
Only the party leader can close a party:
- Closing a party removes all members immediately.
- Any pending invites are cancelled.
- If the party is currently in a league, the party's registration is terminated and all progress is lost.
!!banner Closing a party while in an active league will cause you to lose all league progress. This cannot be recovered.
Party Locks During Leagues
When your party joins an active league, the party becomes locked:
- No new members can be invited while the league is ongoing.
- Existing members can still leave the party if they choose.
- Pending invites are automatically cancelled.
Once the league ends, the lock is removed and the leader can invite new members again.
Using Alt Characters
You can use your alternative characters in parties:
- Each of your characters can have their own party or join together to be in one party.
- An alt character can join someone else's party (and vice versa).
Future Expansions
Parties are a foundation for future gameplay. Additional features and uses for parties are planned for upcoming releases.
