Pets

Pets are your permanent companions. They bring extra stats, unlock new activities, and can be traded or evolved over time. Equip one to boost your character instantly, or send it out to battle, hunt, or sleep while you focus on other goals.

INFO

Most systems treat pets by quality (Standard → Mythic) and level. Higher quality unlocks stronger stats, and better stamina usage.

Core Stats

  • Every pet has base stats such as attack, protection, agility, accuracy, movement speed, health, and stamina.
  • Equipping a pet adds all of its current stats to your character. Only one pet can be equipped at a time.
  • Pet Mastery increases a pet’s stats by up to 20% at level 100.
  • Happiness and hunger affect performance. Keep both bars topped up to get the full stat bonus.

Equipping a Pet

Equipping a pet lets your benefit from its stats. For instance, if your character has 200 attack power, and you equip a pet with 50 attack power, your character’s total attack power becomes 250.

Pet Mastery Boost

Pet Mastery starts paying off once you reach level 44. That is the first time the pet mastery boost shows up, landing at a gentle 1%. From there the bonus climbs faster every few levels, especially after level 70.

You can update the bonus straight from the selected pet window whenever you level up. If the window says the boost is outdated, tap update so your pet uses the newest percentage.

Activities

  • Battling earns pet EXP, Pet Mastery EXP, and loot. See Pet Battles for stamina drain, enemy waves, and rewards.
  • Hunting tracks enemies and brings back loot and experience while idle. See Pet Hunting for stamina rates and encounter pacing.
  • Sleeping restores health and stamina. Recovery speed scales with your Pet Mastery level.
  • Exchange lets you buy and sell pets with other players. Minimum prices and fees are detailed on the Companion Exchange page.

Effects

Pets can receive temporary effects that boost specific stats.

  • Patting your pet applies a happiness buff that increases multiple stats for 2 hours.
  • Effects stack unless they touch the same stat in the same category. Check your pet’s status page to see active modifiers.

Incubation

  • Pets hatched from eggs often need time before they can join you. Higher quality generally means longer incubation.
  • Campaign rewards and exchange purchases arrive ready to use, with no incubation required.
  • You cannot list or equip a pet while it is incubating.

Evolution

All pets can evolve up to 5 times. Each stage increases their stats permanently.

  • Evolving resets the pet to level 1 but keeps its evolution bonuses.
  • Each stage adds 5% to the pet’s chosen stat bonus, stacking to 25% at stage 5.
  • You can only evolve a pet once it reaches the required evolution level (usually max level). Check the pet’s details to confirm eligibility.

TIP

Evolution is permanent. Evolved pets sell for more but also lose their current level during the process.

Stamina Management

Stamina is the long-term limiter on how hard a single pet can work. Instead of hard cooldowns, stamina drains whenever a pet battles or hunts and must be recovered through sleep.

  • Stamina regeneration only happens while the pet is sleeping. There is no passive refill during combat or idle time.
  • Unlike health, there is no consumable or gold payment that restores stamina instantly.
  • High-quality pets spend stamina more efficiently, but every pet will still need rest after a few cycles.
  • Queue sleep after each session so the pet is ready for its next rotation.

TIP

Owning multiple pets lets you rotate workloads: one hunts, one battles, and one sleeps.

Location Locking

Pets stay in the location where they finish a battle or hunt. If you move away, that pet remains there until you bring it back.

  • Travel to the same location to reunite and interact with the pet.
  • If you need it urgently, pay the Teleport to Your Location fee. This costs exactly 1/10th of what it would cost to teleport yourself to that location, making it a budget-friendly option when you need your pet back quickly.
  • Locked pets cannot battle, hunt, or be equipped until they are back at your current location.

Quick Reference

  • Earn pets from World Bosses, Campaigns, the Market, or the Companion Exchange.
  • Equip a pet to gain its stats and grant it experience in your battles.
  • Recover stamina and health through sleep before sending pets back into the field.
  • Use Pet Mastery to unlock more concurrent hunts and battles, faster recovery, and stronger stat scaling.
