Overview

Melriel is stubborn and cold. She does what she wants, and she does not apologize for it. Her actions teeter on the edge of moral ambiguity. It is hard to know if she is truly callous or simply willing to do things others will not. Her true intentions are never clear. She weaves a complex web around herself, and whether that is deliberate or simply who she is remains a mystery. People are drawn to her, but few trust her. Those who do often regret it. Those who do not often regret that too.
