Companion Exchange

The Companion Exchange lets players buy and sell pets with other characters. Listings appear in a shared marketplace where you can browse by price, level, quality, and more. Once a trade completes, the buyer receives the pet instantly and the seller collects gold after fees.

INFO

Visit the Companion Exchange from the Pets panel to browse live listings, check your own offers, or review your transaction history.

Listing Pets

Before you list a pet, make sure it is eligible.

  • The pet must be hatched, awake, and not busy (no battle, hunt, or sleep in progress).
  • It cannot be equipped or recovering in an incubator.
  • It must be at the same location as your character.
  • Each character can have up to 20 active exchange listings at once. Every listing counts toward the limit until it sells or you cancel it.

INFO

Certain pets are bound to your account and cannot be traded.

Minimum Pets

  • Each pet starts with a base listing price that matches the value assigned to its species.
  • The exchange raises that minimum as the pet gains levels and evolutions. The minimum price climbs in even steps, so moving from level 50 to 51 increases the minimum just as much as evolving from level 100 back to level 1.
  • At the hard cap (level equal to the global max and evolution at stage five), the required minimum reaches five times the base price. Anything above the floor is still your choice.

INFO

You will see the current minimum in the listing pop-up before you confirm the price.

Buying Pets

  • Use filters to narrow by level, evolution, price range, or pet name.
  • You need enough gold in your purse before you can confirm the purchase.
  • When you buy a pet, it moves to your inventory immediately and inherits all stats, level, and evolutions from the seller.
  • The pet spawns at the seller's location, so plan to travel there if you want to interact with it right away.

Taxes and Fees

  • Listing and delisting are free. You can adjust or cancel any time before the pet sells.
  • When a sale completes, the system pulls its tax rate from the regular market rules.
    • Non-members pay a 15% seller tax. They receive 85% of the sale price.
    • Members pay a reduced 12% seller tax. They receive 88% of the sale price.
  • The buyer always pays the full listing price. The tax is applied to the seller's payout only.
  • Gold is reserved from the buyer the moment they confirm the purchase. If the listing was already sold, the reservation is released immediately.

Managing Listings

  • View your active listings in the "My Listings" tab to track price, time listed, and status.
  • You can delist a pet at any time, returning it to your inventory instantly.
  • Completed transactions show in the "History" tab so you can review past sales and purchases.

INFO

Listings are automatically removed from the exchange after 90 days if they do not sell.
