Inventory ​

Your inventory holds every item you are carrying. Items you gather, craft, loot or buy all land here first.

You can open it from the main menu. The bank and your equipment sit in tabs next to it.

Slots ​

Each stack of an item takes up one slot. Items of the same kind and tier stack together, so 100 Coal Ore only uses one slot.

  • Free players have 35 slots.
  • Members have 42 slots.
  • You can buy up to 21 extra slots from Satchel & Co. in the vendor. The "+" at the end of your inventory takes you there.

WARNING

If your inventory goes over its limit, some actions are blocked until you make room. Move items to your bank, sell them or use them to get back under the limit.

Finding your items ​

The bar at the top of your inventory helps you find things quickly.

  • Search filters your items by name as you type.
  • Sort orders your items by Date, Quality, Quantity, Type, Value or Name. The arrow next to it flips the order.
  • Grid and Table switch between item tiles and a list with more detail.

Arranging your items ​

With the sort set to Default, you can drag items around to arrange them however you like. On a phone, press and hold an item before dragging it.

Your layout is saved. An item keeps its place even if you use up the whole stack and get more later.

Item actions ​

Press an item to open it. You can use the arrows (or the arrow keys) to flip through your items without closing the window.

What you can do depends on the item.

  • Equip puts on equipment.
  • Use consumes an item, such as food, a potion or a chest. Some items can be used several at a time. You can open up to 100 chests at once.
  • List on Market sells the item to other players on the market.
  • Sell to Vendor sells the item for gold straight away. You also earn Bartering experience.
  • Upgrade raises the item's tier using Upgrade Stones.
  • Deposit moves the item to your bank. You need to be somewhere with a bank.
  • Showcase pins the item to your profile for others to see. Free players can showcase 5 items and members can showcase 10.
  • Inspect shows the item's full details, including where it drops.
  • Lock protects the item. See Item locking.

Selecting multiple items ​

Press Select to pick several items and act on them all at once.

  1. Press Select.
  2. Press each item you want. A tick shows on every selected item.
  3. Choose an action from the bar above your items.

You can select up to 50 items. Select All picks every item you can see, so you can search first to narrow it down. Your selection stays while you search.

In your inventory you can:

  • Deposit every selected item into your bank.
  • Sell every selected item to the vendor.
  • Lock or Unlock every selected item.

Deposit and Sell always use the whole stack of each item. Before anything happens, you get a list of the items to check.

If an item can't be deposited or sold, it shows a red "!" in that list. Press it to see why, for example "This item is locked." Deselect it to carry on.

Item locking ​

Locking an item protects it from being used or lost by mistake.

A locked item can't be:

  • Used or consumed.
  • Sold to the vendor.
  • Listed on the market or used to fill a market order.
  • Traded, loaned out or used in an auction.
  • Upgraded, or spent as a material in an upgrade.
  • Spent on skills, quests, buildings or anything else that uses up items.

You can still move a locked item around. You can:

  • Deposit it into your bank and withdraw it again.
  • Equip it and unequip it.

The lock stays with the item wherever it goes. A locked sword is still locked after you bank it or equip it.

How to lock an item ​

  1. Press the item to open it.
  2. Press Lock.

Locked items show a small padlock next to them. To remove the lock, open the item and press Unlock.

You can also lock or unlock many items at once with Select.

Good to know ​

  • A lock covers the whole stack of that item and tier. Locking your tier 1 swords does not lock your tier 2 swords.
  • You can't lock an item while it is being upgraded. Wait for the upgrade to finish first.
  • If you select a locked item and press Sell, it is flagged in the list and you can't confirm until you deselect it.

TIP

Lock your best gear and any rare items you want to keep. It stops a quick "sell all" from taking them with it.

Items you borrow from another player work in a similar way. They also show a padlock and can only be equipped or moved to and from your bank.
