Sapphire

Overview

Sapphire is an Arvendor noble from an important family with a long history. Her role is to maintain and protect the crypts beneath The Citadel. These are not normal tombs. They hold the bodies of the Arvendors who built the civilization. They hold secrets that go back centuries.

The crypts are sacred to the Arvendor people. They are part of their identity. Keeping them safe is one of the most important jobs anyone can have. Sapphire takes this very seriously. She knows who each person is in the crypts. She knows their stories. She honors them.

It is currently unknown if Sapphire knows of The Runemark of Eternity and the sacrifice it requires.

Philosophy

Sapphire is driven by duty and respect. She comes from a noble family, but her nobility is not about power or money. It is about responsibility. She sees her role as custodian of the past. She believes that respecting the dead means respecting the foundation of her civilization.

This is not a job to her. It is a calling.

Nature

Sapphire maintains the crypts with care. She keeps them clean. She preserves the structures. She makes sure no one disturbs the resting places without permission. She also grants access to those who have legitimate reasons to visit. Researchers, family members, historians. She considers each request carefully.

She is fair but firm. She treats the crypts as a sacred space, not a place for curiosity seekers or grave robbers. Those who come with respect find an honorable guardian. Those who come with disrespect find an unmovable wall.
