Thorgarr

Thorgarr

Overview

Thorgarr is strong. Very strong. He serves darkness without question. He follows orders. He does what he is told. He does not think much beyond that.

He is not intelligent, but he does not need to be. His strength is enough. He is dangerous because violence comes naturally to him. He is not cruel out of choice. Violence is just what he is. When he kills, he does not feel guilty. He does not understand guilt. An enemy is an enemy. A problem to be removed. Like swatting a fly.

The Oakenra philosophers debate what Thorgarr represents. They ask if a man is truly evil if he acts without understanding the harm he causes. Can something be evil if it acts only according to its nature, like a lion hunting prey? A lion is not evil. It is simply a lion.

Thorgarr is simply what he is.
